Bio

Lulu Jiang is an Emmy-Nominated Beijing born NYC based Multimedia Designer and Art Director, Founder of Hot water cool art, who completed an MFA in Computer Arts from the School of Visual Arts in New York and her BFA in Animation from Renmin University of China.

Lulu has worked in a variety of positions in the digital media industry, including crafting creative content for Bloomberg Marketing Studio; creating end-to-end design for global marketing campaigns, digital ads, out-of-home, motion graphic, and self-service tools at Amazon Web Services (AWS); providing art directions on different shows on CNN+; creating original creative content for NBC News(2017); designing and animating daily content for Hearst Digital(2016); assisting with motion graphics for the Webby Award-winning YouTube channel Vsauce in New York (2015);

She help launched more than 5 digital products, CNN+, NBC StayTuned, NBC News Now, Today All Day, NBC Left Field, Harper's Bazaar Snapchat etc.

She has experience managing a team, and her effective communication and ability to find clarity in ambiguity are her unique leadership style. She believes 'Clarity is kindness.'

She's specialized in large-scale branding in products, marketing campaigns, and videos. She also has experience in end-to-end design execution, from ideation to design implementation and then self-service template creation, standardizing streamlined processes and optimizing for the end customers.

She has received numerous awards. Her short film won 20 awards internationally, and her artworks were accepted in 11 exhibitions around New York City.
